Novara: travel

The quickest way to fly there is to Milan. The pick of the bunch is Milan Malpensa, which does have some direct bus connections to Novara. Alternatively it's time to head into Milan and get a train connection.

Novara is just 45 minutes from Milan in one direction and Turin in the other on the main railway, with an hourly service on regional trains.

Tickets to and from those cities are competitively priced and can be less than 5 euros each way.

There is also a direct bus service from Novara bus station, via the train station to nearby Milan Malpensa Airport Terminal 1, with eight buses running daily each way, roughly every two hours. The fare in 2011 is 7 euros each way and the journey takes 50 minutes.

Novara is small and compact, the middle is all of a ten minute walk. The only time you're likely to need transport is getting to the ground and back, and that's detailed in the club section.
